10 Easy Steps to Lull an Audience to Sleep

You have been asked to speak for a live continuing education seminar. Let's face it, you are an intelligent, resourceful professional and your reputation precedes you, but you are not perfect (we are just as shocked as you are, trust us) and maybe, just maybe you are not as polished a speaker as you would like to be. An Insider's Guide to Sterling Seminars

Please let me introduce myself, I am Elizabeth Kramer and I have been with Sterling Education Services since March of 2007. For the past few years, I have been Sterling's Marketing Coordinator. Before that, I worked in almost every department here, learning a lot about what we do and how we do it.

When I was hired, my new boss told me that it would be hard to understand the nature of the business until I worked here awhile, and boy, was he right. Over the last four years I have tried to describe to family and friends what exactly we do and what exactly my part is in the process, but I am frequently met with confused looks.
